This balm can be used after cleansing in the morning and in the evenings. It can also be applied throughout the day if skin is feeling dry and it makes an excellent lip balm as well as a good facial massage tool.

The beeswax base carries antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that are essential in fighting chapped dry skin. Beeswax also forms a protective barrier by sealing in moisture. It contains vitamin A which has been proven in multiple studies to reduce wrinkles and age spots while re-hydrating and reconstructing damaged skin cells.

The Shea butter in the balm is extremely moisturizing and very
hydrating. Packed with soothing attributes, Shea can be used on all skin types. It provides immediate softness and smoothness. It aids to diminish blemishes, wrinkles, and pigmentation. The Baobab oil in the formulation contains moisturising Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and F which all help to rejuvenate damaged skin cells by firming, tightening and hydrating skin. Also rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, these are powerful antioxidants which protect against free radical damage.
The Rosehip oil which is added to the later stages of the formulation is loaded with skin-nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids. Fatty acids help to keep cell walls strong so that they don’t lose water. Rosehip oil also contains both lycopene and
beta carotene. It also contains phenols that have been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties Rosehip oil is rich in vitamins A and C, which are both necessary to produce collagen. Being rich in Vitamin C, Rosehip aids in cell regeneration, which boosts overall radiance.
Also added to the end stages of the balm making process is Sea Buckthorn oil. The valuable substances contained in Sea-
Buckthorn oil gives skin a beautiful and healthy appearance.
It’s unique unsaturated fatty acids, such as palmitoleic acid (omega-7) and gamma-linolenic acid (omega-6), give Sea-Buckthorn oil skin
regeneration and repair properties. With close to 200
properties, Sea-Buckthorn oil is a valuable addition to this blend.

Another highlight ingredient of this precious balm is Clary sage, it’s benefits can be attributed to the oil’s anti-inflammatory, astringent, antispasmodic, antiseptic, anti-infectious, antifungal and antidepressant properties. The oil is also calming and a nerve tonic with warming and soothing components.

We love Neroli and added this to the balm since it has many valuable and health-promoting properties, besides the aromatherapy benefits of its irresistible orange blossom scent, neroli oil stimulates skin cells to regenerate, giving it anti-scarring properties. Along with its regenerative qualities, neroli oil is also an antiseptic, disinfectant, antispasmodic, bactericidal, antidepressant and sedative. These useful benefits make it efficient for helping treat cuts and wounds
No balm formulation would be complete without Lavender, with its antispasmodic, calming, and stimulating properties. Lavender is also antiseptic and antifungal. It can be used to clean cuts, clear up bruises, and soothe skin irritations. Lavender oil can also help regulate the secretion of sebum and can also help get acne scars to heal faster. Also added is Frankincense Essential Oil which has a woody, sweet spicy aroma. It has been shown to help firm, tone, and regenerate aging skin, as well as reduce the time for wound healing and helps diminish the appearance of scars and fine lines.
