“Once upon a time, in a land close to everybody’s home, clothes lived forever. Ok, maybe not forever. Life is not a fairy tale, but much, much longer. The art of recycling, upcycling and transforming to prolong our belongings’ longevity is as old as we are. It informs our lifestyle, food, design, art, and fashion. When things had value, we kept them, we consumed them. Now, we frequently don’t. It’s time to look back and move forward.”

WHAT IS LOVED AGAIN

Loved Again is our commitment to post production circularity; partaking in responsibility for our garments’ full life cycle after consumer participation.

About 80 to 100 billion new garments are produced every year only for most of them to be worn an average of 7 times before being tossed aside, contributing to 92 million tons of waste. This is why we’ve always strived to produce better; small batches, high quality textiles, and timeless styles which are made to last.

Last year, we successfully closed the loop on our production cycle; this means that we have taken responsibility for all the waste generated through our garment production. We up-cycle what we can and then down-cycle the rest, reusing that in new garments; the result of this being a zero waste circular system.

This year, our intention is to address our end product lifecycle and that is where our community comes in.

As a stylish and conscious consumer, your tastes might change or, naturally, your body has. Maybe you’ve outgrown a certain look or your lifestyle is different now. This is inevitable, of course, so we want to help you pass along your Asha Eleven pieces to someone who’d love to give it a new lease on life.

Loved Again connects sellers with buyers and buyers with sellers through our new online platform. An opportunity for both to pass along or acquire pre-loved pieces from seasons gone by and in doing so, allowing us to collectively and collaboratively close the loop on our product cycle and reduce garment waste.
